Let's Eat : KOSIRAE KOREAN RESTAURANT B.B.Q. - Restaurant Review

Kosirae is the Barbecue restaurant in Korean style @ soi Thonglor. It offers a buffet pork B.B.Q ,so you can toast pork unlimited. This restaurant especially in the evening has a lot of customers, so if you come here in the evening or after 4pm, you have to wait in front of the restaurant for a while. This restaurant has 4 floors but it doesn't have any lift or escalator, so if you get a seat at 4th floor, you have to go up and go down the stairs by your legs. however, its benefit is you can get some exercise after eating a lot of BBQ pork.

as you see at the photo above. It's only 290 baht per 1 person. if you want to came here and afraid that it will not have seat you can book the table by calling 02-714-8683. I advise you that if you come here over than 6 people, you should book the table before, especially after 4 pm. This restaurant open everyday from 11.30 am - 10.00pm.

when you get into the restaurant, staff will take you to your table to have a seat. The table here is clean and already had dishes, spoons and chopsticks like a picture above.

after you have a seat, the staffs will serve side dishes such as Kimchi, fermented vegetable, boiled egg,scald spinach, shell with spicy, salad, and BBQ sauce with garlic and chili. everything you can refilled it unlimited. Moreover, drinking water here is free. 

just a moment, the staff will set a stove, and you can toast all the pork. There are streaky pork, bacon and pork with Kosirae sauce. let's grill all of them. a streaky pork here has more oil layer so, if you eat it for long time, you will feel greasy. you can order some rice to eat with it but it's not include in the buffet line. you have to pay 30 baht for rice. In addition, this restaurant has beef for beef lovers but as i said before, it's not include in buffet line.

after you eat for a while, staff will come to change the sieve of stove because the old one will be burnt. You can toast and eat the pork as long as you want with clean sieve. I like this service because some restaurant you have to eat BBQ with a burnt sieve and it doesn't look good anymore. 

If you eat it for an hour, staff will come again to add more charcoal. it's not take long time, so you can continue eat it without interrupting.

when you finish eating and go to cashier, you will get mint candies. I like it because chewing a mint candy after having a big meal is very good for your breath. Another one reason that i like this restaurant because it doesn't have another charge later. It's only 290 baht.

The Service : This restaurant's service is quite good. I like that the staffs come to change sieve and add charcoal. however, some staffs doesn't have service mind. Customers have to tell them loudly to order or have to order twice. 

The Ambiance : Because this is BBQ restaurant, it is rather noisy. More customers come in big groups and get together. 

Pros:

• Its price is reasonable
• The service is rather good.
• It's easy to go because it's located not far from BTS.

Cons:

• It doesn't have elevator or escalator to go to the 4th floor.
• Some staff doesn't pay attention to customers as they should be.
• Tables are not enough in the evening.

How to go : Easiest by BTS. It's located not far from BTS Thonglor about 600 meters.

All in all, If you are looking for BBQ buffet style Korean and inexpensive, this restaurant is the good choice for you.
