Let's Eat : PASTA de WARAKU - Restaurant Review

PASTA de WARAKU @ Central Plaza Rama9's the 7th floor is the restaurant that offers pasta and pizza in Japanese style. There are a lot of pasta and pizza menu. In addition, they also have Japanese Gratin, Japanese Doria and Japanese curry rice. If you want to come here and try it, it's located in the same floor as SF cinema. Anyway, it also has other branch in Central World and Central Plaza Pinklao.

Pasta de Waraku menu

As you saw in the menu above, this restaurant has many types of food ,such as Pasta cream sauce, Pasta tomato sauce, Pasta beef sauce, Pizza, Gratin, Doria, curry rice, salad, appetizer, and dessert. and it also has set menu ,so you can choose other dish to come with Pasta including soft drink or green tea.     

Doria Set 350 Baht (crab with cream sauce 260 baht)

Start with Doria Set, This set you can choose 1 pasta selection that's not over 260 Baht. So,I chose crab pasta cream sauce. It will be served with mini salad, corn soup,soft drink and Doria,a rice and butter based dish with prawn, scallop and cheese on top. 

Bacon and potato with cream sauce 170 baht

Second pasta dish, Bacon and Potato with Wafu cream sauce, has the same sauce as the first dish so, it taste is rather alike. It will be served with mini salad. Anyway, i prefer this dish to the first one because I like asparagus and its price is reasonable.

Bacon and Eggplant with beef meat sauce 190 baht

Third pasta dish, Bacon & Eggplant with Wafu beef meat sauce, is sour and has pulpy mincemeat. the eggplant is soft. So,this dish is suitable for people who don't like cream sauce or greasy. 

Salmon Calppacho 160 baht

An appetizer, Salmon Calppacho, is raw salmon with Japanese dressing. This salmon is fresh and not stinking. and Japanese dressing is tasty, sweet and sour. I like this dish because I love salmon. 

Double Stack of Honey Toast 190 baht

A recommend dessert, double stack of honey toast, is a toast topped with honey, whipping cream, ice-cream and chocolate sauce, and filled with kiwi and strawberry. The toast has been cut into small pieces ,so you only stab it into your mouth. Anyway,if you want to eat the edge, you have to cut it by yourself and it's sticky.

Pros :

• There are a lot type of food to choose, and each dish is tasty.
• The restaurant decoration is good and attractive. 
• The restaurant location is good. it's near the escalator.

Cons :

• Its price is rather expensive, and it also has a 10% service charge and 7% vat.
• Staffs are not active as they should be. They rarely pay attention to the customers. especially,when the restaurant was crowd. 

Price per person : 250 - 400 baht

How to go : Easiest By MRT. It's next to MRT Rama9 station.

All in all, If you love pasta and want to try it in Japanese style, this restaurant would be your good choice.
